Daisy Miller

Daisy Miller goes up to the counter and orders an espresso. “Careful now,” the barista says, “this is very hot.” She laughs and downs it in one big gulp, making deliberate eye contact with the barista the whole time. Predictably, she burns her throat horribly. As medics arrive, she lets out a weak laugh and says: “That’s all I wanted - a little fuss!”
