Anna Karenina goes up to the counter and orders a medium coffee with cream, but no sugar. She turns to go, but hears the next person in line order an iced chai tea latte. Her mouth waters. The coffee in her hand suddenly looks quite drab.
She sets her coffee down at an empty table and quietly rejoins the line.
