Happy Banned Books Week!
Unsurprisingly, we here at Literary Starbucks support Banned Books Week, as well as the right for anyone, anywhere, to read any book they so choose. Censorship is a tool used by those who are afraid and threatened by things unfamiliar to them. It is a cowardly move, and one that we do not condone.
So for the next week or so, we will be posting banned book-themed orders, from popularly contested authors and books. In the meantime, be sure to check out the infographic posted above, as well as 2014′s list of Most Challenged Books. We would also love to hear from you on what your favorite banned books of all time are, and why!
