This may sound quite sad and a bit ridiculous but I'm a 17 year old girl in high school. I never kissed a boy let alone be in a relationship with one. I have guy friends but no one seems to notice me at all. Boys just seem to go for the girls who like to show off and that's not me at all. Does this mean something is wrong with me that boys can't like me? I really like this one guy who will never notice me.

there is nothing wrong with you… nothing wrong at all. you’re probably a late bloomer. i know a few people who didn’t get their first kiss until they were 21/22ish. i’m not saying it will take you that long..… but it could. and that’s okay. b/c when it does happen, it will be very special.  my most memorable kisses were all after high school (most on new years). the ones from middle/high school weren’t that special/memorable; the sea didn’t part, rainbows didn’t form & no one cried… so i wouldn’t rush it. if it’s gonna be your first… it might as well mean something. if you’re not the flashy, loud & proud type then don’t try to fake it. just be you. someone will eventually notice your intelligence, personality, style, pretty smile/eyes. u don’t want a guy that just cares about looks. they don’t last. work on you. patience will reward you. i promise. ~rob
