Someday

Constantly suffocating,


Choked up in tears.


Difficult to stay away,


Currently living fears.

Looking for a pact,


A treaty, a resolution.


Patiently, like a mantis,


Wait, still of motion.

Painstakingly staking out,


Observing, trapped in genjutsu.


Drowning in the mundaneness,


Mind coming unscrew.

The heart knows no map,


Going every which way.


Hitchhiking…wandering,


Someday, hoping you’ll stay.
