In the sixth grade, our teacher spent the entire year teaching through “Hamlet.” Science, history, math - she related it all to the play.  At the end of the year, we performed it for the school.  I played Queen Gertrude and got to “vomit” oatmeal (apparently, we researched how a death from poison might look) and die gloriously on the steps in the cafeteria.  

To this day, I love acting, Shakespeare and oatmeal.
